BSNL Invites Applications For Junior Accounts Officer (JAO). Apply Now

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) conducts a yearly national-level examination for recruitment of Junior Accounts Officers (JAO). For the year 2017, the notification for the recruitment of Junior Accounts Officers (JAO) has been released by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The notification is for filling of 996 posts. Candidates who are interested in applying for the position can apply online from 11th September 2017 to 15th October 2017. The examination will be held on 05th November 2017.

Number of Vacancies: 996 Posts
Location: The vacancies are spread across the country in 28 states across different BSNL circles.
Pay scale: The pay scale for the post of Junior Accounts Officers (JAO) shall be 16400-40,500. The total emoluments will be approximately Rs 35,000/- per month excluding perks, medical benefits and other benefits.
Please note that the 996 vacancies are spread across BSNL telecom circles in 28 states. However, a candidate can apply for only one circle or state. Based on the rank of candidates in the examination and the vacancies in any circle or state, the appointments will be made accordingly.
Candidates who are selected for the position will have to execute a bond with BSNL in a specified format that they will serve in the organization for a minimum period of 5 years. Selected candidates will have to undergo required training and are required to qualify through the training too. If the candidate is unsuccessful in his first attempt he will be given one more attempt for qualifying through the training. Candidates who fail to clear the training even after their 2nd attempt will be deemed unfit for selection and will have to undertake the examination again, whenever it will be held.
